As our club's
name implies, working is what the Jack Russell terrier has been
about for over two centuries.
While it may be hard to imagine that these cute little dogs actually
go face-to-face with fierce adversaries below the ground, that is
what terriers are bred to do. And there are those who keep this
tradition alive - and working ability intact - by doing serious
earthwork with their terriers.
While this activity is not without an element of risk, witnessing a
terrier work in the field is to discover the true mettle of a Jack Russell.
